A message from co-founder, Tamar:
I always used to wish that chocolate was healthy. But alas I was taught that good things don't come easily.
As an architecture student I had all-nighters pretty often, and in order to stay up, I consumed piles of sugar and caffeine, whatever was stocked in the faculty vending machine. As a result, I would get highs and crash. I started to bear the scars of school on my waist, one kilo for every project.
I started doing research on foods that give you brain power, focus, and sustained energy. I experimented with my friend Arielle and Hadas, until we perfected a few recipes. We are here to share the magic with you. Tamars bars: super foods that are super delicious for a super you.

DATES: Our secret ingredient. Our bars and chocolates fillings are sweetened naturally using medjool dates. Dates are a good source of various vitamins and minerals. They are a good source of energy, sugar and fiber. Essential minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium and zinc are found in dates. They also contain vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin A and vitamin K.
